DOLLAR LOAN CENTER DONATES $240,000 TO LAS VEGAS NONPROFIT, THE JUST ONE PROJECT

LAS VEGAS (APRIL 29, 2024) – This is the latest community initiative from Dollar Loan Center this year, in addition to a check donated to the Las Vegas Metro Police Department Foundation for $250,000 in January and a donation of over $200,000 worth of radio equipment to the Nevada Broadcaster’s Association who then gifted it to the University of Nevada Las Vegas’ School of Journalism and Media Studies. Dollar Loan Center is committed to giving back to each of the communities they do business in, supporting local police departments, youth sports and food pantries in northern and southern Nevada, Utah, and Idaho.

“The Just One Project provides an essential service to thousands of individuals throughout southern Nevada, and I am proud to stand by an organization that changes lives every single day,” said Chuck Brennan, Founder and CEO of Dollar Loan Center. “It’s clear how they make such an impact on so many people: everyone at The Just One Project is extremely passionate and dedicated to their mission, and it shows.”

Starting in 2014 as a handful of volunteers handing out groceries to those in need, The Just One Project has grown into one of the largest mobile food pantries in southern Nevada in addition to their housing and wraparound services. Through the support of dedicated staff members, collaborations with community partners, and a commitment to helping individuals and families facing adversity, The Just One Project assists over 20,000 people every month. “We are thankful that the Dollar Loan Center joined us as a 2024 Mission Partner. Their support highlights the impact we have in serving individuals struggling with food insecurity across Southern Nevada. This generous donation reflects a shared commitment in strengthening our community.” said Brooke Neubauer, Founder and CEO of The Just One Project.
