Henderson Little League is the city’s largest program for youth baseball. “I made a commitment to the organization for the next five years because I believe it is a great asset to the city and Nevada. The league gives hundreds of kids the chance to learn the great game of baseball and life skills that they will carry on with them forever,” Brennan said. Brennan addressed the audience of more than 500 which included players, family members, volunteers and dignitaries.
“Henderson Little League would not be where it is now without the help of Chuck and Dollar Loan Center. The whole organization, especially the children, greatly appreciate the generous donation made year after year that makes it possible for them to play ball,” said Michael LeFrancois, the Sponsorship Coordinator for Henderson Little League.
Players, coaches, parents, volunteers and sponsors gathered at the opening ceremonies for a night of activities including player and team introductions, raffles and prizes. The National Anthem played on violin by a former Henderson Little League player from Las Vegas Academy was crowd favorite. The annual gathering also included a speech from the little league President, dedications and the presentation of sponsors. There was also plenty of fun throughout the evening with raffles, food trucks and the first pitches were thrown out by representatives of the teams at all levels.
As one of Nevada’s most recognized philanthropists, Brennan takes pride in of giving back to the community and participating in such events throughout the state.
