Eligibility

The Sweepstakes is open only to individuals who are legal residents of Wisconsin and are 18 years of age or older at the time of entry. Employees, officers, directors, and immediate family members of Sponsor, WAPL, and their respective affiliates, subsidiaries, advertising and promotion agencies, and any other entities involved in the administration of the Sweepstakes are not eligible to participate. No purchase or payment is necessary to enter or win. Void where prohibited by law.

 

Sweepstakes Period

The Sweepstakes begins at 12:00 a.m. Central Time (“CT”) on Monday, October 5, 2026 and ends at 11:59 p.m. CT on Wednesday, December 23, 2026 (the “Sweepstakes Period”). Two potential Daily Prize winners will be selected each weekday during the Sweepstakes Period at approximately 12:00 p.m. CT.

 

How to Enter

a. To enter the Sweepstakes, participants must text “RUSH” to 94955. Entrants will receive a link to complete their entry on dontbebroke.com, where they will provide their full name, city, and cell phone number. Message and data rates may apply.

b. Entries received outside of the Sweepstakes Period will not be considered. Winners will be announced during the Sweepstakes Period.

c. Each eligible individual may enter the Sweepstakes only once during the Sweepstakes Period. Duplicate entries may be disqualified.

 

Prizes

a. Daily Prizes: Two (2) $100 prizes will be awarded each weekday during the Sweepstakes Period. Each Daily Prize has an approximate retail value (“ARV”) of $100 and will be paid by cash, PayPal, or another payment method determined by Sponsor. A valid PayPal account may be required if PayPal is used.

b. Grand Prize: One (1) $2,500 cash Grand Prize will be awarded. ARV: $2,500.

c. Winners are responsible for all applicable federal, state, and local taxes and may be required to provide applicable tax documentation.

 

Winner Selection

a. Each weekday during the Sweepstakes Period, Sponsor will randomly select two (2) potential Daily Prize winners from all eligible entries received by the applicable drawing time. Eligible entries that have not previously won a Daily Prize will remain eligible for subsequent Daily Prize drawings.

b. An individual may win only one (1) Daily Prize during the Sweepstakes Period. Confirmed Daily Prize winners remain eligible for the Grand Prize.

c. On December 24, 2026, Sponsor will randomly select one (1) potential Grand Prize winner from among the confirmed Daily Prize winners eligible at the time of the Grand Prize drawing.

d. If the potential Grand Prize winner cannot be contacted, is ineligible, fails to respond or provide required documentation, or otherwise fails to comply with these Official Rules, Sponsor may select an alternate Grand Prize winner.

e. Odds of winning a Daily Prize depend on the number of eligible entries received. Odds of winning the Grand Prize depend on the number of confirmed Daily Prize winners eligible for the Grand Prize drawing.

 

Notification of Winner

a. Potential winners will be notified by text message and are subject to verification of eligibility and compliance with these Official Rules before being declared official winners. Sponsor will also advise confirmed Daily Prize winners that their name and city may be announced on 105.7 WAPL the following day during rush hour.

b. Potential winners must respond within 24 hours of notification.

c. Sponsor may require a potential winner to complete an affidavit or declaration of eligibility, liability/publicity release, IRS Form W-9, or other reasonably required prize documentation. If a potential winner does not respond within the required time, is ineligible, fails to provide required documentation, or otherwise fails to comply with these Official Rules, Sponsor may select an alternate winner.

 

Winner Announcements:

a. Sponsor will provide the name and city of each confirmed Daily Prize winner to 105.7 WAPL for announcement the following day.

b. 1st winner will be announced between 6:00 a.m.-7:00 a.m. CT.

c. 2nd winner will be announced between 5:00 p.m.-7:00 p.m. CT.

 

General Conditions

In the event that the operation, security, or administration of the Sweepstakes is impaired in any way for any reason, including, but not limited to fraud, virus, bug, worm, unauthorized human intervention or other technical problem, or in the event the Sweepstakes is unable to run as planned for any other reason, as determined by Sponsor in its sole discretion, Sponsor may, in its sole discretion, either (a) suspend the Sweepstakes to address the impairment and then resume the Sweepstakes in a manner that best conforms to the spirit of these Official Rules or (b) terminate the Sweepstakes and, in the event of termination, award the prize at random from among the eligible, non-suspect entries received up to the time of the impairment, or not award the prize at all. Sponsor reserves the right in its sole discretion to disqualify any individual it finds to be tampering with the entry process or the operation of the Sweepstakes or to be acting in violation of these Official Rules or in an unsportsmanlike or disruptive manner. Any attempt by any person to damage the website or undermine the legitimate operation of the Sweepstakes may be a violation of criminal and civil law, and, should such an attempt be made, Sponsor reserves the right to seek damages (including attorney’s fees) and any other remedies from any such person to the fullest extent permitted by law. Failure by the Sponsor to enforce any provision of these Official Rules shall not constitute a waiver of that provision.

 

Any false information provided within the context of the Sweepstakes by any participant concerning identity, mailing address, telephone number, e-mail address, ownership of right or non-compliance with these Official Rules or the like may result in the immediate elimination of the participant from the Sweepstakes. Sponsor further reserves the right to disqualify any entry that it believes in its sole and unfettered discretion infringes upon or violates the rights of any third party, otherwise does not comply with these Official Rules, or violates U.S. or applicable state or local law.

 

By accepting a prize, where permitted by law, the winner authorizes the use, without additional compensation, of his or her name, likeness, voice, photograph, and municipality of residence for promotion and advertising purposes in any manner and medium, including radio broadcasts, publications, television, film, Internet, social media, and websites, as Sponsor may deem appropriate.

 

Release and Limitations of Liability

By participating in the Sweepstakes, entrants agree to release and hold harmless Sponsor, 105.7 WAPL, Woodward Communications, Inc., and each of their respective parents, subsidiaries, affiliates, advertising and promotion agencies, other companies associated with the Sweepstakes, and each of their respective officers, directors, employees, shareholders, representatives, and agents (the “Released Parties”) from and against any claim or cause of action arising out of participation in the Sweepstakes or receipt or use of the prize, including, but not limited to:

 

(a) any technical error associated with the Sweepstakes, including lost, interrupted or unavailable Internet Service Provider accessibility or miscommunications or failed computer, satellite, telephone, cellular tower or cable transmissions, lines, or technical failure or jumbled, scrambled, delayed, or misdirected transmissions or computer hardware or software malfunctions, failures or difficulties; (b) unauthorized human intervention in the Sweepstakes; (c) mechanical, network, electronic, computer, human, printing or typographical errors; (d) any other errors or problems in connection with the Sweepstakes, including, without limitation, errors that may occur in the administration of the Sweepstakes, the announcement of the winner, or in any Sweepstakes-related materials; (e) injury, death, losses or damages of any kind, to persons or property which may be caused, directly, or indirectly, in whole or in part, from entrants’ participation in the Sweepstakes or acceptance, receipt or misuse of the prize. Entrant further agrees that in any cause of action, the Released Parties’ liability will be limited to the cost of entering and participating in the Sweepstakes, and in no event shall the entrant be entitled to receive attorney’s fees. Released Parties are also not responsible for any incorrect or inaccurate information, whether caused by site users, tampering, hacking, or by any equipment or programming associated with or utilized in the Sweepstakes. Entrant waives the right to claim any damages whatsoever, including, but not limited to, punitive, consequential, direct, or indirect damages. Wireless carriers are not responsible for delayed, lost, misdirected, or undelivered messages.

 

Disputes

Except where prohibited by law, each entrant agrees that any and all disputes, claims, and causes of action arising out of or connected with the Sweepstakes or any prize awarded shall be resolved individually, without resort to any form of class action, and by a court of competent jurisdiction located in Wisconsin. All issues and questions concerning the construction, validity, interpretation, and enforceability of these Official Rules, the entrant’s rights and obligations, or the rights and obligations of Sponsor in connection with the Sweepstakes shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Wisconsin, without regard to conflict-of-law principles.

Participants’ Personal Information

Personal information collected from Participants, which includes, but may not be limited to, name, city and state of residence, telephone number and email address, will be collected by Sponsor for the purposes of administering the Sweepstakes, fulfilling the Prizes, and for other purposes, including the Sponsor using such personal information for marketing purposes such as email, text messaging, phone calls, mailers, and more.
