DOLLAR LOAN CENTER DONATES $250,000 TO LAS VEGAS METRO POLICE FOUNDATION

Chuck Brennan of Dollar Loan Center donating $250,000 to Las Vegas Metro Police Department Foundation

LAS VEGAS (January 18, 2024) – On Friday, Jan. 12, Las Vegas-based community short-term lender Dollar Loan Center made a donation of $250,000 to the Las Vegas Metro Police Department Foundation to support their latest innovation, a 110,000-square-foot Indoor Tactical Training Village. The indoor facility is housed at the Joint Emergency Training Institute and is scheduled to be in use by mid-2024.

The Indoor Tactical Training Village will replicate an array of locations for first responders to practice handling a variety of realistic scenarios and emergencies so they can better respond on the field. Several replicated environments include a gas station, learning center, playground, casino, hotel rooms, and retail outlets for officers to train in and react to better serve and protect in real-life situations.

“We are truly grateful for Dollar Loan Center’s remarkable contribution to the LVMPD Foundation to support the training initiatives for our first responder teams. This generous investment underscores their unwavering commitment to public safety. Dollar Loan Center is not just investing in facilities; they are investing in building the skills that keep our communities safe. This partnership exemplifies a shared dedication to enhancing the preparedness and capabilities of our law enforcement and first responder community,” says Karen Marben, executive director of the Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department Foundation. “The opportunity for officers to engage in life-like simulated environments that mimic a realistic urban area will result in a safer Southern Nevada, and we appreciate Dollar Loan Center for paving the way for other philanthropic supporters to support the LVMPD Foundation with our initiatives to support our local law enforcement teams.”

In 2023, Dollar Loan Center was inaugurated into the esteemed 100 Club for its continued dedication to supporting the Las Vegas Metro Police Department Foundation. Over the years, they have donated time and funds to the Las Vegas Metro Police Department.

“The Las Vegas Metro Police Department is one of the organizations that I have been proud to support over our 25-year history in Las Vegas, and seeing how our donation will be used to train officers to be better prepared for real-life scenarios is something that I’m honored to be a part of,” said Chuck Brennan, CEO and Founder of Dollar Loan Center. “The brave officers and staff with the LVMPD are a shining example of what this city has to offer, and by those who are willing to protect it. I am excited to see this facility come into full use, and to continue supporting this incredible organization for many years to come.”
