Dollar Loan Center teams up with The Just One Project, donates $250,000

On April 12, Dollar Loan Center, a short-term lender in the community, donated $240,000 to The Just One Project. The Just One Project dedicates itself to improving access to food resources and services, creating a stronger, healthier, and more connected community. DLC presented the check at The Just One Project’s headquarters at 1401 N. Decatur Blvd, Suite 34, in Las Vegas, Nevada. This donation will play a vital role in The Just One Project’s mission to help people in need.

Dollar Loan Center has been busy launching various community support initiatives this year. In January, it donated $250,000 to the Las Vegas Metro Police Department Foundation and over $200,000 worth of radio equipment to the Nevada Broadcaster’s Association, which was gifted to the University of Nevada Las Vegas School of Journalism and Media Studies. These initiatives reflect Dollar Loan Center’s commitment to giving back to the communities it serves.

Chuck Brennan, the Founder and CEO of Dollar Loan Center, said, “The Just One Project provides an essential service to thousands of individuals throughout southern Nevada, and I am proud to stand by an organization that changes lives every single day. The Just One Project’s passion and dedication to their mission is inspiring.”

The Just One Project started in 2014 as a small group of volunteers distributing groceries and has now grown to become a leading mobile food pantry that provides housing and wraparound services in southern Nevada. With the help of dedicated staff members, collaborations with community partners, and a steadfast commitment to assisting individuals and families facing adversity, The Just One Project now aids over 20,000 people every month. “We are grateful that Dollar Loan Center joined us as a 2024 Mission Partner. Their support highlights the impact we have in serving individuals struggling with food insecurity in Southern Nevada. This generous donation reflects a shared commitment to strengthening our community,” said Brooke Neubauer, Founder and CEO of The Just One Project.
