Trust Me, I Have the Notes to Prove It
Since I started working for the Dollar Loan Center, I have always been ready to learn. If something came to be that I didn’t understand or if I wanted to know how I could help a customer the best way possible, I went to my manager, as well as did research with sources provided. While doing this, I will take notes. And trust me, I have many notes to prove it. Whatever chance I got to bring my new knowledge to help in store, I brought it. DLC has always given me opportunities to grow. My best advice is to take it and NEVER be afraid to learn or ask questions. You may be surprised at what door opens or what you can do.
I have learned so much and can now confidently say I am able to overcome even the toughest challenges. My higher ups were always happy to help me grow and with one-on-one training, practices, and hands on preparations before my promotion, I am now a manager, and I insist on helping my fellow peers grow as well.
Here at DLC, we work as a team. Every day when I come to work the environment is always welcoming. We strive to have our customers & staff feel the same way. In store or on the phone, if there is something an employee cannot answer or needs help with, we are always willing to find an answer with our fellow staff to give the best outcome. There are no questions left unanswered here.
I value our core values the most, FATCAP. This stands for Fun, Active Participation, Trust & Respect, Commitment, Accountability & Honesty, and finally, Positive Attitude. This is important to me and allows me to have that work-life balance everybody appreciates.
Our customers are treated the same as our staff; we are equal so therefore everybody is provided with the same expectations. I do want to point out that I am also happy with the company being able to work with staff members on health insurance and time off when needed. There is always a solution here at DLC.
