Loan Processor to Regional Manager, One Step at a Time

Coming into my career with DLC, I came with previous management experience, I was up for the challenge of proving myself at the entry-level position and started as a Loan Processor, although excelling as an LP, I always had the next step up as a career goal. I showed up, answered all calls I could possibly answer and helped my team grow, eventually those efforts lead me to managing my own location, ensuring everyone at the store assigned to me did everything like I would.

DLC prides itself in promoting from with-in! Which eventually lead me into the Compliance Associate role in corporate—that was an eyeopener into the administrative side on why we do what we do, it helped me learn a lot and grow and have more skills which ultimately brought me back into Operations and bring everything back into practice. My biggest advice for any future team member is to show up, make sure you work on getting your goals, DLC will reward you with what you put into it.

Training helped me to be successful, as a loan processor to have the ability to learn how a store operates and runs from all aspects, led me to know exactly what to do in any situation that arose. Every step came with training; my RM and SM were available for questions when I had them to get me out of training and prepared me for any situation.

DLC is a great place to work because the company will reward you for the hard work you put into it. DLC is not for the everyday minimalist type of employee. If you show up daily put 110%, you will be rewarded with the next promotion, it doesn’t matter if you have worked here 3 months or 5 years, there is plenty of community outreach as well as we are everywhere! As someone Vegas raised, the DLC jingle is a staple in Las Vegas!

The benefits of DLC is the career growth!—Starting at this company very young—I have become a RM that provides a lot of value and not just in management, but through the compliance lens and why you would choose DLC, through those career advancements, I have managed to buy a home, build a family and help be a provider to that family. It was DLC giving me a return to all the hard work over the years!
