‘Dollar Loan Center’ to also house Southern Nevada Sports Hall of Fame
VEGAS (March 30, 2021) – Vegas Golden Knights Chairman and CEO Bill Foley announced today, March 30, that the Henderson Silver Knights (HSK) and Vegas Golden Knights (VGK) have entered into a long-term partnership with Dollar Loan Center (DLC) that expands upon DLC’s growing relationship with the Knights organization. Under terms of the partnership, DLC has secured naming rights for the Henderson Event Center, a 6,000-seat multi-purpose venue on Green Valley Parkway near The District at Green Valley Ranch and future home of the American Hockey League’s (AHL) Henderson Silver Knights. The Henderson Event Center, now known as the Dollar Loan Center, will also become the new home of the Southern Nevada Sports Hall of Fame.
Socially distanced interview opportunities with Bill Foley, Chuck Brennan (Dollar Loan Center), Kerry Bubolz and representatives from the Southern Nevada Sports Hall of Fame will take place on Tuesday, March 30 at 3:30 p.m. PT at the Dollar Loan Center site (200 S. As the official short-term lender of the Henderson Silver Knights and Vegas Golden Knights, Dollar Loan Center will receive prominent exposure with both teams at NHL and AHL venues across the valley, including the Orleans Arena, the Dollar Loan Center upon completion, Lifeguard Arena in Henderson, T-Mobile Arena and City National Arena. DLC will also be featured across HSK and VGK digital and broadcast assets being the presenting sponsor of the VGK Radio Network, which spans 18 markets in Nevada, Utah and California. Additionally, DLC will provide substantial cash prizes for Knights fans through various promotions.
The partnership also includes the Silver Knights, Golden Knights and DLC working together to create a charitable program that gives back to the local community.

The SNSHF Class of 2021 is a diverse group of individuals, including Larry Brown, Shawn Davis, Glen Gondrezick, Ryan Ludwick, DeMarco Murray and Amy Purdy. Including this induction class, the Hall of Fame now consists of 116 members.
First launched in 1997 to honor its first inductee – David Humm – the SNSHF Induction Ceremony and Golf Tournament has become one of Las Vegas’ most anticipated events each year. Of the 116 current members, the SNSHF has enshrined two events (National Finals Rodeo and Las Vegas Bowl), two organizations (Las Vegas Convention and Visitors Authority and Las Vegas Founders), four families (Cashman, Boyd, Fertitta and Herbst), seven teams (1976-77 UNLV Basketball, 1989-90 UNLV Basketball, 1983 Las Vegas Stars, 1944 Las Vegas High School Football, 1997-98 UNLV Golf, Las Vegas Thunder and the inaugural 2017-18 Vegas Golden Knights) and 101 accomplished individuals.
Proceeds from the induction ceremony and ancillary events are donated to local charitable organizations and scholarship programs that promote character development through sports.
