# I Used to Work the Floor. Now I Help Staff It.

I’ve been part of the Dollar Loan Center team since 2011, and what a journey it’s been! I started out as a Loan Processor in Northern Nevada before making my way to Southern Nevada, where I was promoted to Store Manager and had the opportunity to manage several locations throughout the Las Vegas area.

After years of helping customers, I was given the opportunity to take on a new role at our corporate office as a Recruiter. So I went from helping people with loans to helping DLC find and hire our future rockstars!

I had been in the stores for a little over ten years when I was offered the opportunity to become a recruiter. I was ready to learn something new, grow, and take on a new challenge. Now, when people apply, I always let them know that there is room to grow within the company, and I tell them how I’ve experienced that growth myself.

I’ve had the opportunity to grow in so many different roles throughout my time at DLC, and I’m grateful for every experience and every person who has been part of my journey. I love being able to bring my experience from the stores into recruiting and help find the amazing people who make Dollar Loan Center what it is today.
