Letter from Dollar Loan Center Founder Charles "Chuck" Brennan to Nevada Governor Steve Sisolak "The Honorable Steve Sisolak Governor, State of Nevada 101 N Carson Street #1 Carson City, NV 89701 January 18, 2019 Dear Governor Sisolak, In Response to the leadership shown by your administration and the Nevada System of Higher Education, effective today, Dollar Loan Center is offering emergency interest-free loans to federal employees affected by the federal government shutdown. The interest-free loan are up to $2,500 will be made available to federal government employees residing in Nevada and Utah who either been furloughed or are forced to work without pay during the shutdown. There will be no interest charged or any payments required until after the end of the shutdown. It’s incredibly unfortunate that our family, friends and neighbors have been put in this situation. We pride ourselves in our community involvement and this is just another way to step up to the plate and help these folks out. Loans that are paid in full within 10 days of the government re-opening will have a 0% APR and no added fees. The borrower simply has to pay back the principal they borrowed once they get paid. After the 10 days grace period, normal loan terms will apply on any outstanding balances. All applicants must meet normal loan requirements and be able to prove their furloughed status. Please feel free to forward this on to anyone who may be able to get the word out to these folks in need. Our 50 locations are standing by and ready to help. Please let me know if there is anything further we can do to help, Sincerely, Charles “Chuck” Brennan"
